How to Cancel Bitdefender
Need to cancel your Bitdefender subscription? This guide will walk you through the cancellation process step-by-step. Whether you subscribed through Bitdefender's website, we'll show you exactly how to cancel.
Note: After canceling, you'll retain access to Bitdefender protection until the end of your current billing period. Your account will remain accessible, but protection will be disabled after your subscription expires.
Step 1: Sign in to Your Bitdefender Account
Go to central.bitdefender.com and sign in with the e-mail and password associated with your Bitdefender Central account.
Step 2: Go to My Subscriptions and My Payments
Click "My Subscriptions" in the left menu, then open the "My Payments" tab at the top. Alternatively, you can access it directly through the My Payments link.

Step 3: View Payment Details
Click the "View details" button next to the Bitdefender product for which you want to turn off auto-renewal.
Note: If the email used to buy Bitdefender is not the same as your Bitdefender Central account, a verification code will be sent to the purchase email. To proceed, click "Continue with verification", enter the code from the purchase email and click "Confirm code", then click "View payment details".

Step 4: Manage Subscription Renewal Options
In the new tab, click "Manage your subscription renewal options".
Note: If your Bitdefender subscription is not set to auto-renew, instead of "Manage your subscription renewal options" you'll have an option called "Reactivate Subscription". Click it if you want to turn on automatic renewal.

Step 5: End Auto-Renewal
In the pop-up window, click the "End Auto-Renewal" button.

Step 6: Confirm Cancellation
Select a reason for stopping auto-renewal, then click "End Auto-Renewal" twice to confirm. You'll receive a confirmation email.
Troubleshooting
- Make sure you're signed in to the correct Bitdefender account
- Try accessing the account directly: central.bitdefender.com
- Click "My Subscriptions" in the left menu, then open the "My Payments" tab
- If you see a "Billing" tab instead, follow the instructions for "Turning off auto-renewal via Subscriptions"
- Look for the "View details" button next to your Bitdefender product
- Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again
