How to Cancel or Pause Mailchimp
Need to cancel or temporarily pause your Mailchimp subscription? This guide walks you through pausing your Marketing plan step-by-step on the website. You can also use billing settings to cancel or change your plan.
Note: When you pause your Marketing plan, you choose how long to pause (3 or 6 months). Your account and data are preserved; after the pause period you can resume or cancel. After canceling, you retain access until the end of your billing period, then your account may be downgraded to the Free plan and your data kept for a grace period.
Step 1: Open Account or Billing
Click your profile icon, then choose Account & billing or Account (the label depends on your user type).
Step 2: Open Plan Management
Click the Settings drop-down and choose Manage my plan.
Step 3: Start Pausing Your Plan
In the Temporarily pause my Marketing plan section, click Pause my plan.
Step 4: Review the Impact
Review the options and the changes that will happen in your account. Mailchimp will explain what is affected during the pause.
Step 5: Choose Pause Length
Use the radio buttons to choose whether to pause your plan for 3 months or 6 months.
Step 6: Confirm the Pause
Click Pause Marketing plan to apply. Your Marketing plan will be paused for the period you selected.
