How to Cancel Deezer Premium
Need to cancel your Deezer Premium subscription? This guide will walk you through the cancellation process step-by-step. Whether you subscribed directly through Deezer or through a third-party platform like Apple or Google Play, we'll show you exactly how to cancel.
Note: After canceling, you'll retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period. Your playlists, favorites, and preferences will be saved permanently, so you can reactivate anytime without losing your music library.
Step 1: Open Your Profile
Go to your profile (e.g. from the top of the app or www.deezer.com when signed in).
Step 2: Open Account Settings
Select Account Settings.
Step 3: Open Subscription Management
Select Manage my subscription.
Step 4: Start Cancellation
Select Cancel my subscription.
Step 5: Confirm Cancellation
Select the reason for canceling, then select Confirm to finish. Your Premium access continues until the end of your current billing period.
Troubleshooting
- Go to your profile → Account Settings → Manage my subscription → Cancel my subscription
- Then choose a reason and select Confirm
- You can also open www.deezer.com/myaccount and follow the same path
- If you're on a Family plan, cancel from the plan management page; clear cache and cookies if the page doesn’t load
If you subscribed through Apple, Google Play, or another third party, you'll need to cancel through that platform's subscription management system, not through Deezer's website.
If you have a Deezer Family plan, canceling will affect all members. The plan manager can cancel the subscription, which will downgrade all members to Free accounts.
Deezer doesn't offer a pause option. However, you can cancel and reactivate anytime without losing your playlists or saved music.
- Check your email for the cancellation confirmation
- Confirm you completed the flow: profile → Account Settings → Manage my subscription → Cancel my subscription → reason → Confirm
- Verify the cancellation date matches the end of your billing period
- Contact Deezer support if charges continue after that date
